Uluwatu, is the area located on the Bukit Peninsula in the south of Bali and you can not skip it if you are looking for nice beaches on the mainland. With its high cliffs, white sandy beaches and blue waters, it’s one of the best locations for a relaxing or surf holiday. You can find plenty of good restaurants and hotels in Uluwatu, but you will not find it as touristy as Kuta or Seminyak as everything is a lot more spread out. The beautiful Nyang Nyang beach is a very nice stretch and if you’re lucky, you can have it all to yourself. - Suluban beach is located on the southwestern tip of the island, the best way to get here is on your rental motorbike. You can easily rent motorbikes through Uluride Rentals. Make sure to have an international driver's license and always wear a helmet!

Make sure to visit the revered Hindu Sea temple, Uluwatu – it’s perched on a cliff overlooking the ocean and is completely mind-blowing - and stay for the Kecak fire and dance show. Iconic Balinese temple, Pura Tanah Lot, is a picturesque sea temple on rocks above the ocean and is very popular with photographers and sunrise and sunset. Make sure to visit Ulun Danu Beratan temple in Bedugal, set in the middle of a Beratan Lake where you can be entertained by instagrammers paddling around in small boats trying to capture the perfect photo.
If you’re a foodie you can book into a cooking class that starts with a morning shopping at the local markets for produce, before cooking up a feast. You can’t go to Bali without geetting a massage and pedicure and while some top-notch spas are popular, we prefer to support the local ladies in their small stores along the streets.
